Fishing

Pillar Lake provides a good Rainbow fishery for trout up to 2+ lbs. Fly fishermen concentrate their efforts at the North End of the lake in the large shoal areas. During spring through early summer there are a good emergence of Chironomids, Cadddisfly, Damsels and Dragons. Trolling small lures, flatfish and spinning gear also meets with good success.
